| Birthday & Event Planning Tips |
| Birthday and Party Planning Tips 1-Calculate a realistic Budget 2-Choose a theme and build the party around it (to reduce costs substitute some solid colour items for theme related items) 3-Making a party plan and itinerary will help you determine all of your party's requirements 4-Make a list of all items required and quantities and carry it with you. Sticking to this list will help you resist impulse buying and help you stay within budget 5-Limit the party time, especially for children's parties. A maximum of 2 hours is acceptable for children 6 and under and a maximum of 3 hours for older children 6-Plan more activities than you plan to use. This way you will be well prepared if the activities take less time than planned or if you feel the need to change the activities based on the party flow 7-If planning an outdoor party be sure to have a back-up plan incase of inclement weather 8-No matter what type of event you're planning you should always check for any guest food allergies. A good way is to request this information with the RSVP. 9-Don't leave anything to the last minute or to chance. Planning ahead will save you headaches (and possible heartaches) on the day of your party 10-If in doubt contact an Event Planner for a consultation. It may be worthwhile for creative and money saving ideas and possible solutions to any planning problems you may have |
